Stitch Count: 112 × 11514 ct (over 1) or 28 ct (over 2) – 8 × 8.2 in.16 ct (over 1) or 32 ct (over 2) – 7 x 7.2 in.18 ct (over 1) or 36 ct (over 2) – 6.2 × 6.4 in.40 ct (over 2) – 5.6 × 5.8 in.Florigraphica 2 is a four-part series that will be released quarterly. The overall stitch count for stitching all four pieces together is 227 × 230.This design, and the other three parts in the series, use Cottage Garden Threads (CGT) for the flowers and other overdyed flosses for the leaves and border. Here is a list of the flosses used for Hydrangea:CGT Bird Bath and JacarandaGA Grape Leaf and Shutter GreenWDW Schneckley is used for the border throughout. If you are using 2 strands of floss on a lower count of fabric, purchase 6 skeins of Schneckley, the border color, in order to have enough of the same dye lot.Note on border: If you wish to stitch the border while waiting for the other parts, I have posted the chart as a free download on my site janhickscreates.com on my Free Patterns page. Please pay attention to the corner areas. Each of them is charted slightly different to accommodate the size of the flower chart.Model is stitched on 40 ct Linen by Weeks DyeWorks with one strand of the called-for floss over two linen threads.Although I have provided the DMC conversion, please remember that DMC will not give you the variegated flow of colors like the overdyed floss.
