Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 Bleached Batting

Description

Developed with Harriet Hargrave, the nationally known quilter and author of Heirloom Machine Quilting, Hobbs offers one of the best 80% cotton/20% polyester battings on the market. Heirloom Bleached is recommend for light colored quilts. Bleached 80/20 is made the same way as our Premium 80/20, except it uses bleached cotton to provide quilters a white batting that will not show through a lighter quilt top.
The combination of long staple cotton fibers and polyester gives you a strong, long wearing batting. It maintains its loft and needles wonderfully whether you machine or hand quilt. Pre-washing will give your quilt a contemporary look. 3-5% shrinkage, and will quilt as close as 1/4″ up to 4″ apart.
