Nishikiito thread by Cosmo Lecien is a truly exceptional metallic hand embroidery thread. Made in Japan using the same techniques used for the traditional golden threads used to make kimono, Nishikiito thread has a beautiful bright, glossy sheen and abrasion-resistant. The feel of the thread is much softer and smoother than standard metallic threads, so it snags less and is easier to work with.
